ID Card Printing Policy
1. General Policy
We provide professional ID card printing services for businesses, organisations, and authorised individuals in full compliance with UK regulations. All printing requests are subject to verification of ownership, proper authorisation, and adherence to copyright laws.
Our aim is to ensure that every ID card we produce is legal, safe, and fits the requirements of the requesting organisation.
2. Company ID Cards
We can print ID cards for employees or members of companies and organisations. Before printing, we require proof of company ownership or authorisation from a senior representative. This ensures that cards are issued only to legitimate personnel.
3. Copyrighted Logos and Text
ID cards containing copyrighted logos or text can only be printed if the requester is the copyright owner or holds written permission from the copyright holder. We do not permit the printing of any material without proper authorisation. This protects both our customers and SecureID Print Ltd from potential legal issues.
4. NHS ID Cards and Logos
We are not authorised to print NHS staff ID cards or any cards featuring the NHS logo unless written permission is provided directly by the NHS or an officially authorised representative. This maintains compliance with government and institutional regulations.
5. Private Nursery ID Cards
We can print ID cards for private nurseries, but only with explicit permission from the nursery owner or an authorised representative. These cards can include staff photos, names, and access details and can be paired with security features such as Paxton Net2 cards, UV protection, laminated overlays, holographic protection, break-away safety lanyards, or biodegradable card holders for enhanced safety and durability.
6. School and College ID Cards
ID cards for schools or colleges can only be produced with formal permission from the respective institution. This ensures all educational ID cards are issued legally and protect intellectual property.
7. Restricted and Prohibited ID Cards
Certain types of ID cards are strictly prohibited and will not be printed under any circumstances. These include:
- Government-issued ID cards (UK or international national IDs)
- Birth certificates or any official government documents
- Driving licences (UK or international)
This policy protects both our customers and SecureID Print Ltd from legal liability.
8. Carer ID Cards
We can print Carer ID cards for care home staff or private carers, provided written permission is obtained from the care home owner or senior representative. Authorisation can be submitted conveniently via email.
These cards can also include security features such as laminate overlays, UV protection, and break-away lanyards to ensure staff and patient safety.
9. Compliance and Verification
All requests for ID cards are carefully verified before printing. SecureID Print Ltd reserves the right to refuse any order if sufficient authorisation is not provided or if submitted materials do not comply with legal requirements. Customers must ensure that all content on ID cards is legally compliant.
