3) Eligibility & account information
- You must provide accurate, complete information when ordering.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- We may refuse, cancel, or limit orders where misuse, fraud, or policy breaches are suspected.
4) Products, descriptions & compatibility
We aim to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. However:
- Colour & appearance: colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and print processes.
- Compatibility claims: where we state compatibility (e.g., Paxton Net2), it applies only to products specifically described as compatible. You are responsible for confirming suitability for your system before ordering.
- Custom work: personalised products are produced based on the details/files you provide and/or approve.
5) Ordering & contract formation
- Order placement: when you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase products.
- Order acknowledgement: you may receive an automated confirmation email. This does not mean your order is accepted.
- Acceptance: a contract is formed when we accept your order (for example, by confirming production, dispatching the order, or otherwise confirming acceptance).
- Right to refuse: we may refuse or cancel orders due to errors, suspected fraud, policy breaches, or where we cannot fulfil the order.
6) Personalisation, uploads & your responsibilities
Many products require personalisation and may involve uploading images (e.g., photos), logos, spreadsheets, or other files. You agree that:
- You have the right and permission to provide the content, including permission from any individuals whose data appears on the product (e.g., staff members).
- Your content does not infringe third-party rights (including copyright or trademark), and is not unlawful or offensive.
- You have checked spelling, names, dates, ID numbers, and other details before submission/approval.
- You will provide print-ready files where required, in the format and quality described on the product page.
7) Proofs, approvals & production
Where we provide proofs (digital previews) for approval:
- We will send proofs to the email address provided at checkout or during the order process.
- Approval is your responsibility: please check all details carefully (names, titles, photos, dates, layout).
- Once you approve a proof (or request “print as is”), we will proceed to production and you may not be able to cancel or amend the order without additional charges.
- Delays in proof approval will delay dispatch dates. Any stated production times are estimates.
8) Prices, VAT & payment
- Prices are shown in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise and may include or exclude VAT depending on your store settings. Where applicable, VAT is charged at the prevailing rate and shown at checkout.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a price is incorrect, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed.
- Payment is taken at checkout via our payment providers (e.g., Stripe and/or PayPal) or other methods shown on the site. We do not store full card details.
- If payment is reversed, charged back, or fails, we may pause fulfilment and/or request alternative payment.
9) Delivery, dispatch & risk
- Delivery methods and estimated times are shown at checkout and/or on our Delivery Information page. We commonly use tracked postal/courier services (e.g., Royal Mail tracked services) where selected.
- Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to production, peak periods, carrier issues, or events outside our control.
- Delivery address: you are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, additional charges may apply for re-delivery.
- Risk: risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we receive full payment (including any delivery charges).
10) Cancellations
You may request to cancel an order by contacting us as soon as possible.
- Non-personalised items: we can usually cancel before dispatch.
- Personalised/made-to-order items: once production has started or proofs have been approved, cancellation may not be possible, or we may charge for work already completed (including design/production costs).
11) Returns & refunds
11.1 Non-personalised goods
If you order non-personalised items (e.g., certain accessories), you may have the right to cancel and return under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for the current process and timescales.
11.2 Personalised / made-to-order goods
This does not affect your rights if the goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
11.3 Faulty, damaged or incorrect orders
- If your order arrives faulty or damaged, or we have made an error, please contact us promptly with your order number and clear photos where relevant.
- We may offer a reprint, replacement, or refund as appropriate, depending on the circumstances.
- Issues caused by customer-provided content (e.g., spelling errors approved in proofs, incorrect data provided, low-quality images supplied) are not treated as faults, but we may be able to offer a paid reprint.
12) Print quality & tolerances
We aim for high-quality, consistent print results. Due to the nature of printing, there may be minor tolerances in: colour variation, alignment, and cutting. Such minor variations are not usually considered faults.
13) Promotions, discounts & codes
- Discount codes are subject to any stated conditions (expiry, eligible items, minimum spend).
- We may withdraw or amend promotions at any time where permitted by law.
- Unless stated, promotions cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.
14) Website use & acceptable behaviour
You must not misuse our website. In particular, you must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, accounts, or servers.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful content.
- Use automated systems to scrape, overload, or disrupt the site.
- Use our services to create unlawful, deceptive, or infringing materials.
We may suspend access or cancel orders where we reasonably believe misuse or fraud is occurring.
15) Intellectual property
- The website content, branding, logos, and designs are owned by or licensed to SecureID Print Ltd.
- You retain ownership of the content you supply, but you grant us a licence to use it for the purpose of fulfilling your order (including producing, printing, and dispatching the goods).
16) Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability which cannot be limited under applicable law.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time of contract formation. We are not liable for business losses (such as loss of profit, revenue, contracts, data, or goodwill) where you purchase as a business, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your order is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant goods, except where the law requires otherwise.
17) Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) carrier delays, strikes, severe weather, power or network outages, and supply chain disruption.
18) Privacy
How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you confirm you have read and understood it.
19) Complaints & disputes
We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly. If you have a complaint, please contact us with your order number and details of the issue.
- We may request supporting information (e.g., photos) to investigate.
- Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement, reprint, or refund.
If we cannot resolve a dispute, you may be entitled to pursue a claim through the UK courts or other applicable channels.
20) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts where applicable.
21) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time you place your order will apply to that order.
